Southern California is the birthplace of hot rodding and custom car culture dating back to the Second World War. The area known as Kustomland stretches north from Long Beach to Hollywood and is the home for dozens of specialized fabricators and paint shops. While most of the original pioneers have passed on, a few old-timers are still around.
