Audi to sell diesel-powered TT

If you've been following the auto show circuit or automotive news lately, you've probably heard that diesel is going to be a huge force to be reckoned with in the fight against high fuel prices. Overachieving German automaker Audi is setting yet another standard with their new TT 2.0 TDI model lineup. They've taken the standard TT coupe and roadster models and installed an available two-litre diesel engine with 170 horsepower and nearly 260 lb.-ft of torque. Audi says that the TT TDI is the first series production sports car to be motivated by a diesel engine.
