Cadillac launches its Escalade Hybrid at the Los Angeles auto show

After Chevrolet and GMC, the General's luxury division now gets a hybrid version of their full-size SUV. The Escalade Hybrid is said to flaunt a 50-percent improvement in fuel economy while driving around town, thanks to GM's two-mode powertrain. The combined city and highway rating is said to improve by 25 to 30 percent.
