GM Group at the 2007 Geneva Auto Show
The new CTS has new looks, but it still has the same basic squared-off shape that distinguished it from the luxury crowd back in 2003. With improvements across the board, the new CTS is about the same size as before, but with a slightly wider stance. The interior now uses more luxurious materials. Power comes from GM's 3.6-liter V6 that develops 255 horsepower, and is paired to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic. There will also be a higher-output version of the 3.6 that will develop 300 horsepower. The base 2.8-liter V6 will be dropped. The only difference with the European market CTS is that they have the 2.8L V6.
