Obviously very satisfied with their entry-level Mazda3, the people at Mazda proudly announced their sales numbers for 2004. Even with a lack of inventory that dramatically impeded sales, Mazda still managed to sell 23 802 Mazda3s in Quebec; a 5.4% increase over the 2003 Protegé. By default, the Mazda3 became the best selling car in Quebec and the third best for the rest of Canada. They also mentionned that they now hold a 4.8% share of the Canadian which means that nearly 1 out of 20 cars sold, is a Mazda.
