Nissan Qashqai set for production in Sunderland

It's an important day for Nissan's Sunderland plant, as workers ramp up production of the new Qashqai. Not only the start of a new model, the Qashqai's production also represents the first new vehicle to be produced within the Nissan Integrated Manufacturing System. The system's benefits include better ergonomics and random, multi-model production capabilities.
