Nissan Reaches One Hundred Million Production Milestone

One hundred million units sold isn't a lot for some businesses, but Nissan Motor Company is excited to have produced its hundred-millionth vehicle this past June. Since its beginnings in 1933, Nissan (then simply called Automobile Manufacturing Company Ltd.) produced about 76,640,000 vehicles in Japan, and about 23,500,000 overseas. They've come a long way since the Datsun Type Twelve, and as of the end of June, their total global production stood around 100,140,000 vehicles.
