Vancouver International Auto Show: Subaru

It may just be the lack of winter weather, but Canada's west coast seems pretty green. For that reason it is fitting that Subaru is exhibiting its Partial Zero Emission Vehicles (PZEV) here at the Vancouver International Auto Show. The 2009 PZEV models will be offered in Outback and Legacy sedan / wagon guise. These vehicles are not hybrids and still run fully on regular unleaded gasoline, but the gaseous waste from their modified 2.5-litre 4-cylinder boxer engines is up to 90 percent kinder to the environment compared to an average new car. This statistic is care of a more complete fuel burn and the eradication of evaporative emissions from the fuel system.
