Jinghua BK540 (1958-1988)
The bus, as we mentioned, is used everywhere around the world, and it can look pretty different depending which continent you’re on. There’s not enough time and space here to draw a full portrait of what the last century has given us in this domain, but here’s one produced by Chinese firm Jinghua that was ubiquitous in Asian countries for many years. This fantastic electric bus was in operation for three decades.
