This unique prototype was designed to promote the various services of Toronto Electric, including the production of industrial-grade motorized cranes and hoists. The flashy yellow two-seater stands out with an ultra-short sloping hood that follows the angle of the windshield as well as a truncated tail. Inside, the electronic displays on the dashboard use GoogleMaps technology. The small 49-kW motor allows top speeds of 99 km/h, while a full battery charge can take you over a distance of 200 kilometres.

1917 Rauch & Lang JX6 1916
As Toronto Electric’s second car projet, this 1916 Rauch & Lang sedan is about to get a new lease on life. The vintage electric automobile will indeed receive a new 43-kW motor fed by a classic lead-acid battery. Despite weighing 1,600 kilos, the vehicle will be able to travel 210 kilometres on a full charge (in optimum conditions). Some emissions will still be generated, though, as a tiny diesel engine will power the heating system!
