when called upon yet on a day-to-day basis go about menial duties without so much as a hiccup. This was true among all of Japan's sports cars, especially Acura's NSX.

The RX-7 only suffered three Transport Canada recalls, the first affecting the radiator cap and the filler cap body of 577 1993 through '94 models, the second being a problem with the deterioration of fuel hose elasticity in only 680 cars from '93 through '95, and the last affecting the brake vacuum check valve of 682 cars from '93 through '95. non-issue other than to point out the car's general fault-free livability.

When you're out hunting for the perfect generation-three RX-7, keep in mind that it was available in four trim levels, some of which might be a bit over the top for your personal tastes. What do I mean? Well, the R1/R2 race-spec package took an already performance-oriented car to an entirely new level of track-ready capability. In '93, the R1 featured dual oil coolers, a rigid front strut brace, grippy suede-textured cloth seats, a stiffer suspension and effective rear spoiler. In '94 the R2 superceded the R1, as customers were complaining the ride was too harsh in the R1, with pretty well the same features. Unless you're in for regular punishment, you might want to consider an R2, or for that matter one of the more domesticated cars.
