And now the deciding question, will Hyundai build it? While a hot mid-engine roadster can do wonders for a brand's overall image, the HCD6 most likely will not make it to production, or at least that was the official word from the company two years ago and nothing seems to have come of it since. Still, many of its high-tech features could easily show up on the Korean automaker's next generation of vehicles.
The HCD6 also shows consumers just what Hyundai is capable of. And just what can we expect? The manufacturer is definitely on its way uptown, with a full-size Lexus-like luxury car, possibly similar to the HCD7 Equus concept, slated for the near future. There's even talk of a pickup truck coming down the pike. Keep your eyes peeled for an onslaught of new Hyundai models coming out over the next year or so.
