Earth Day Canada president Jed Goldberg says Prius was honored because it is one of those things that "works to raise awareness of environmental issues and show Canadians how each of them can make a real difference."
Goldberg says, "In part, we do this by showing how businesses, organizations and communities have found real-world ways to reduce waste, conserve resources and energy in order to achieve both business success and a sustainable economy.
