The interior was also completely redone. It still shows its very high quality but as much as its looks are dynamic, it still is relaxing. The car offers a lot of privacy but it still feels open. It is luxurious but not pretentious. By the way, the wood inserts are...real maple wood, if you ever ask! Nissan has increased the interior volume by 4.7 cu.ft. with more headroom and rear legroom. Though the dashboard looks simple and easy to read, there is a full computerized center that includes a complete system that eliminates many switches in the dash. Heating, climate controls, radio, CD and many other functions can be monitered by that center and some of it by voice command. Yes! Voice command! The car will react to many preset commands simply by pressing a button on the steering wheel and change the temperature, the radio station, th CD track or other functions only by using specific phrases, no matter what accent you have in English. And ambient noise will be filtered too!

As funny as it may seem, it will not upshift by itself if you keep it in a gear but it will downshift for kickdown!
