Significant enough for production? That will be up to how well it was received last year as well as whether the execs leading GM feel Saturn can afford such an ambitious undertaking during a period of relatively slow sales - at least Saturn is experiencing slower sales than could have been expected when the project was unveiled at the 2002 Chicago Auto Show, just over a year ago.
Like all concepts that hold production promise, onlookers are left speculating until either the last minute of a new product announcement, or adversely until it slips quietly away into the ether, the name to be brought up occasionally for comparison with something newer, while design details are reused, the old concept merely a canvas for future road going products.
In other words, your guess is as good as mine.
