Head-Up Display (HUD), a popular option in GM's top models, will be available on BMW's 6-Series soon after its introduction. It's an excellent safety and convenience feature, projecting primary and often-checked secondary information onto the lower half of the windshield within easy view of the driver. Now, with steering wheel controls for many of the car's features close at hand, there's no reason for a driver's eyes to be taken from the road.

One of those features is optional Active Cruise Control (ACC), a system that monitors distances to cars up ahead and adjusts speeds accordingly, for safeties sake.

Safety aside the 645 Ci's standard glass panorama vent roof, complete with an electrically operated movable roofliner, brightens up the accommodating interior. A little extra light makes it all the easier to see the controls to the standard 8-speaker sound system, or optional LOGIC7 audio system.
The spatial sound experience will be mirrored by an extremely large cabin, measuring 4,820 mm (189.8 in) long, 1,855 mm (73.0 in) wide, and 1,373 mm (54.1 in) tall. While a 2+2 GT, reportedly rear passengers have lots of room. What's more that tall trunk is said to hold a decent amount of cargo, up to two golf bags and a suitcase. Just what size suitcase BMW doesn't say.
