When it comes right down to it Chrysler could have made its third row fit a 6-footer, but the penalty would have been too hard to bear. Just look at its graceful styling, the way the roofline dramatically drops off as it nears the liftgate... that would be gone. Chrysler knows better than most automakers that good design sells more cars than optimal practicality, and so, the Pacifica offers a fine blend of both.

It's attractive inside too, with much better tactile quality than previous Chryslers, or any other domestic products for that matter. Leather seating is standard, with heated cushions on the first two rows. Second row passengers can also adjust the rear temperature via controls on the sliding and removable rear console. The driver should find a comfortable position from the ten-way power seat while the front passenger will have to make do with only four power adjustments. Both can equally enjoy the dual zone climate control with odor/particulate filtration.

An AM/FM/CD/DVD Infinity Intermezzo theater-style surround-sound audio system incorporating a 6-disc dash-mounted CD/DVD player and steering wheel controls also comes standard, and it's amazingly powerful. That not only means it will belt out a favorite tune with authority, but will also deliver crystal clear low volume quality. On another note its rear power liftgate comes in really handy when arms are loaded. DaimlerChrysler Canada decided to offer all of these features, equating to an additional $2,770 MSRP, for no extra charge - not bad at all. Also available is a large power glass sunroof, 17-inch chrome alloy wheels, full-size spare tire and Cargo Convenience Group package, adding a tonneau cover, cargo net and adjustable roof rail bars.
