| The 456-hp rear-wheel drive GT2 is wickedly fast but its $255,550 starting price is even a little too rich for rich folks. |
To increase high-speed directional stability and increase downforce during fast cornering Porsche has added a unique rear wing, also helping to give the new model some visual separation from its less aspiring siblings. Along with a reengineered front spoiler, the GT3 boasts an amazing 0.30 coefficient of drag (Cd).
Priced at $139,900 2003 Porsche 911 GT3 is well below the $170,200 Turbo, and will hit Porsche dealerships in May 2003. With its relatively low price, rear wheel-drive layout and incredible naturally-aspirated performance the new GT3 might just be the best purist's Porsche yet.
