Ironically enough, it's with parking that I had a problem. My base model Echo
came with another manual quality: steering. I didn't even know manufacturers still made cars without power steering! The lack of this particular luxury wasn't bothersome while driving around the city and doing my daily duties, but the stiff steering while parallel parking and turning around was a workout for my arms. At least part of me is following through on my New Year's resolution of working out, without leaving the comfort of my car!Despite the 2005 Echo Hatchback's lack of power anything, it still has all the necessities. It's basic but boisterous, miniature but modestly priced, comfortable and oh-so-cute.
