For 2006, BMW is treating its enthusiast with a Coupe version of the Z4 cabrio. We all remember the Z3 M Coupe; either you loved or loathed it. This time around, it is clearly a love affair.
Sheetmetal for the Coupe is identical to the roadster up to the "A" pillars. Everything following is unique to the Coupe. An M version of the Coupe is slated to make its appearance at the Geneva show in March.
Powering the new Coupe will be BMW's excellent 3.0L Inline 6-cylinder which develops 255 hp. Transmission choices will be either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic.
The Z4 Coupe will be available in summer 2006.
