Lincoln Mercury executives undoubtedly have their collective fingers crossed that the latest Lincoln pickup truck proves more popular than the ill-fated Blackwood. It should, but will it be a match for Cadillac's highly functional, mid-gate equipped Escalade EXT? That remains to be seen. It is entirely possible, that Lincoln's more conventional approach will be even more acceptable in the luxury market. If the luxury brand is successful, expect top-tier full-size pickup copycats to join the fray.
