The base V6 will be a 210 horsepower 3.7-liter unit, featuring 235 lb-ft of torque. The top-line 4.7-liter V8 boasts 230 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque, ample to allow this sport truck to live up to its racy image.

To keep up with its youthful styling the Raider will also offer a 500-watt audio system with 6-CD in-dash changer for optimal convenience and sound quality.
No doubt the new Raider pickup will strengthen MMNA's brand image and bottom line, while DaimlerChrysler will benefit by increased component production volume. The new model should also do well converting non-truck buyers into the more lucrative segment. It will arrive in dealerships this fall, as a 2006 model and carry the Mitsubishi's 10-year, 100,000 mile powertrain warranty, the best in the industry.
