to negate roll, pitch and dive, providing better body control without compromising ride comfort. Also new is an electrical power steering system which has been tuned to provide good feedback, while reducing space and fuel consumption. Together, these critical changes should once again raise the bar on the fun factor in the subcompact class.

Tony Wearing, Managing Director of Toyota Canada Inc, says, "Yaris has enormous appeal for 'trend-setting' owners, who demand a vehicle that expresses their personality without compromising style, quality and handling."

Without a doubt, Toyota's latest subcompact offering is anything but the average subcompact car, in quality, design, practicality and innovation. For the Yaris, Toyota will be taking a new 'customization' approach, offering up to 50 different appearance and performance upgrades through its TRD lineup. Uniqueness and individuality are traits that Toyota is trying to cash in on, something it's had great success with in its U.S.-market Scion brand. Pricing for the 2006 Toyota Yaris will be announced closer to its launch date; expect it to be priced similar to that of current models.
