Underneath, the Yaris features a new L-Arm McPherson strut suspension and a Torsion Beam setup in back. Toyota has fine-tuned the suspension
to negate roll, pitch and dive, providing better body control without compromising ride comfort. Also new is an electrical power steering system which has been tuned to provide good feedback, while reducing space and fuel consumption. Together, these critical changes should once again raise the bar on the fun factor in the subcompact class.

Pricing for the 2006 Toyota Yaris will be announced closer to its launch date; expect it to be priced similar to that of current models.
