S-Line package brings out the sporty side of Audi's A6 sedan
Comfortable Carving
Ride and handling are a delicate balancing act between sporty response and luxurious isolation. It's like trying to decide on lunch... fattening and tasty, or healthy and bland?

Audi engineers like both.

The A6's ride is a pleasant mix between comfort and handling.

The A6 on the highway is quiet and soft while still finding a connection to the tarmac and feeling more precise than floaty. Minimal road noise is present, and the ride's isolated enough to be very comfortable on long trips. Work the steering, and you'll find a quick ratio, instant response and well-controlled body roll. All in all, its apparent that the A6 is more about being civilized and comfortable than it is about cornering- though it slices asphalt to bits when given the chance.

$86,600 well spent?
A comparable BMW 535xi has less power and cylinders. So does a 4MATIC-kitted Mercedes E-Class. With 365-day-a-year operation for a techy, upscale V8 sport sedan, you might have a tough time doing better.
