The new Highlander will be bigger as it is based on the Avalon. This would mean that the third row of seats should be able to really accommodate passengers this time around. Information is limited at the moment but we do know that because the EPA will change the way it calculates gas mileage as of 2008, Toyota will have to continue to lobby for this expensive technology as many tax breaks are being cut.

Ford will not only maintain the Freestyle in its catalogue given the arrival of the Edge and upcoming Fairlane, it will be giving it a facelift. The new look mimics the Five-Hundred's new front fascia which itself was inspired by the Fusion and the Edge. Thankfully, Ford will replace the anaemic 3.0L V6 with the powerful 250 hp 3.5L V6 also found in the Edge and Lincoln MKZ.
2008 Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & CountryFirst seen in Detroit, the new Chrysler minivans are chalk-full of features. For starters, the new look of the Caravan is typical Dodge with its oversized cross-hair grill. The Town & Country has a smoother look which properly displays the more sophisticated Chrysler look. Both minivans will have a plethora of safety items including stability control and an array of air bags. One of the most intriguing elements is the new optional swivel'n go seating. The theme "family room on wheels" is at the basis of the newly appointed interior.
