The rack-and-pinion steering is also solid, as are most of the underbody components of this truck. It's a bit vague too, which is expected from such a big vehicle, and the turning radius is quite large. You have to think twice before making a U-turn on a crowded street.

Those who have not sampled this pickup truck for a long time will first notice how its ride has gotten more car-like. The suspension has a lot to do with it, particularly the rear dampers which have been positioned closer to the corners. As a result, the hopping tendency of previous F-150s has been pleasantly reduced.
