On that note, if you were able to keep track of all the standard features you'd know that the Entourage represents an extremely
good value at $23,795 USD (expected to be about $30,000 in Canada). And I haven't even told you about the standard keyless entry, cruise control, AM/FM/CD player, roof rack rails, and front wiper deicer, nor factored in its comprehensive 5-year, 100,000 km bumper-to-bumper warranty.
There will be three trim levels to choose from when it arrives in Hyundai showrooms later this year, starting with the GLS, followed by the SE and topped off with the Limited. All are well equipped, with the Limited capable of rivaling the most limousine-like vans in the industry.
And now for that final question: will the Entourage do to the minivan market
segment what the Sonata has done, and continues to do to the midsize sedan category; i.e. usurp sales from wayward automakers like GM and Ford, for instance, while taking claim to award after award for everything from its general appeal to stalwart reliability? This, of course, remains to be seen, but I wouldn't put it past Hyundai to rise to the top echelons of the minivan segment. Its vehicles are getting better and better all of the time, while its customer retention levels are increasing with every year, showing that its many owners are happy with what they've bought. Now those owners, many which need to move up from Elantras, Sonatas and Santa Fes to a larger vehicle in order to accommodate their growing families, have a new seven-occupant Hyundai that will meet their needs and allow them to remain loyal to a brand that has serviced them well.
Therefore, I predict strong long-term sales numbers for the Entourage, and being that customer retention is directly related to the breadth of models a given brand has within its lineup, continued success for Hyundai on the whole.
