The art of delivering the goods
The brake pedal and throttle are dangerously close to each other, which means you have to be careful not to depress both at the same time with your foot. Drivers with rather large boots have been warned.

Compared to rivals, the E-Series van is a true monument.

In terms of comfort, the seats in the E-150 are the exact opposite of the Sprinter's. They're soft and offer little side support, which becomes a real problem on twisty roads as the significant body roll quickly takes a toll on the driver -- something you don't experience when sitting behind the wheel of a Sprinter.

Of course, such "trivialities" are not what most commercial van buyers are looking for. They're more interested in affordable machines that will prove reliable for many years to come. From that standpoint, the 2008 Ford E-150 still delivers the goods.
