So, what is it?
The ZDX is an ultra-safe, ultra-stylish, ultra-trendy form of transportation best suited for two adults that blends the best of two worlds: sports coupe and luxury sedan. This vehicle (which has nothing to do with the upcoming Honda CrossTourer by the way) is a statement for the discerning car buyer (conceived and assembled in North America—Alliston, Ontario in fact—for North-Americans) looking to stand out in a crowd with all the latest gadgetry and technology.
Acura will not market the ZDX as a flagship or halo car (that should be left to the next NSX...) but they know and realize that it is very much a niche car that is a window into the luxury brand's future. All this is very nice but what will it do for Acura's bottom line? It's up to you.
The ZDX arrives in dealerships on December 1st 2009.
