We just caught early photos of a BMW Progressive Activity Sedan (PAS) mule, and for the first time, more revealing details can be seen. Most notably, the PAS will have a coupe-like roofline and will have frameless side windows.
The roomy sedan is said to have four large, fully adjustable seats and - as sources are telling us - small tables as well. Depending on the options and packages, it will be riding on 18 to 21" wheels. All-wheel-drive will definitely be an option, as well as several of the bells and whistles (AKA: technical innovations) from the upcoming 5 and 7 Series makeovers.
The longer-than-X6 PAS will be offered with a variety of 6-cylinder powerplants, as well as a hybrid option.
Officially, the PAS will debut at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show.
