The Honda Accord has long been a car recognized for its reliable performance, exceptional fuel economy and sensible, value-based presence in the Canadian market. Through its numerous generations, it’s earned a loyal following of customers and a fantastic reputation.

Key to the 2010 Accord lineup is its selection. By offering several body configurations, 3 engines and manual or automatic transmission options, Honda’s made sure that there’s an Accord just right for any need or budget.

Shoppers visiting their nearest Honda showroom will be presented with both coupe and sedan variants of the Accord-- though the lineup has just been joined by a new crossover based on the Accord called the Crosstourer, too.

Engine options consist of a pair of 2.4 litre four-cylinder units that generate 177 or 190 horsepower, respectively. A potent 3.5 litre V6 is optionally available, and it benefits from a slight increase in power for 2010-- bringing total output to 271.

The larger four-cylinder engine is standard in the Accord Coupe and available mated to either a five-speed automatic or five-speed manual transmission. In the Accord sedan, the five-speed stick is available only with the base four-cylinder engine. All Accord V6 Sedan models are all automatic, though the Accord V6 coupe can be had with a six-speed manual. This makes it a highly sought after machine with performance buffs.

Once settled on a body style and powerplant, shoppers can check out options like the available sunroof, heated leather seats, voice-controlled navigation system and Bluetooth phone interface.

Pricing for the 2010 Accord range starts at $24,790 for the sedan and $27,790 for the coupe.
