The marriage between Fiat and Chrysler is starting to show some results, and are presenting a product onslaught at the Mondial de l'Automobile in Paris.

Based in Italy, the Fiat Group owns brands such as Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Lancia and Abarth. As for Chrysler, the new association will allow both companies to share technologies and platforms, and the first product born from the union is Chrysler's new Pentastar V6 which borrows Fiat's MultiAir system.

Yet another version of the Fiat 500 has seen the light of day, called the TwinAir. Using an 900-cc, 2-cylinder turbocharged engine that includes the [linka rtid="108369"]MultiAir system[/link], the TwinAir develops 85 horsepower and gives the 500 a fuel economy rating of about 4.0 L/100 km. The TwinAir variant will be available in 500 and 500C (convertible) body styles, although a North American version is highly unlikely.

Lancia presented the redesigned Delta, an elegant 5-door hatchback sedan that's available with a range of engines that includes a 200-hp, 1.8-litre turbo inline-4 with direct injection and a 190-hp, 1.9-litre turbodiesel four.

The Musa is Lancia's compact, high-roof people mover that's powered by gas and diesel engines from 1.3 to 1.9 litres in displacement that offer 77 to 100 horsepower. The Musa with the 1.3 MultiJet 16V diesel engine has a combined fuel economy rating of 4.7 L/100 km.

Jeep's European product portfolio includes the Grand Cherokee, the Patriot and the Wrangler in both two-door and four-door configurations. The brand-new Grand Cherokee graces Chrysler show floor as well as the Patriot with a new 2.2-litre, common-rail turbodiesel inline-4.

Special-edition versions of two Chrysler models are also on display alongside the Lancia vehicles: the 300C Walter P. Chrysler sedan and the Grand Voyager Limited Black minivan.
