Competitors are aplenty and include: Ford Focus SEL ($20,949), Honda Civic Sport ($21,980), Hyundai Elantra GLS ($20,999), Kia Forte EX ($19,195), Mazda3 GS ($20,595), Mitsubishi Lancer SE ($21,498), Nissan Sentra 2.0 S with Luxury Package ($21,998), Toyota Corolla LE ($21,165).
Weird or not, the Suzuki SX4 sedan impresses with its fit and finish, good ride and lots of space for tall folks. Its powertrain isn't as refined as several competitors, which impresses a little less. If you can live with the fat front pillars, the SX4 is a competent small sedan that is worth a look.
