Although stability control is a welcome addition to the complete Corolla range, it adds about $300 to the price of the CE model's Enhanced Convenience Package. That means the less expensive Corolla with the VSA system will cost $18,155.
Other equipment additions include leather seats and a navigation system, stuff we never imagined would turn up in a Corolla. We're not sure the typical buyer of this car will want these features.
Should you get the 2010 Corolla instead of one of the remaining 2009s? Unless these new features are a must, stick with the 2009 for now, as the lower lease and finance rates will save you $20 to $40 a month.
