You can add the leather package to upgrade to Titan Black Vienna leather seats with power lumbar support and a power sunroof for $2,600. This would be one upgrade I would definitely pay that extra amount for.

It is interesting to point out that GTI is the only Golf available with a navigation system.

On small cars, I feel that most manufactures miss out on the centre armrest. This GTI has an adjustable armrest for the driver, room for coffee and even a folding armrest with cup holders for my friends in the back. Nice touch.

The loaded version tops out at just over $37,000. (Photo: Lacey Elliott/Auto123.com)

This lively GTI starts at around $28,500 and loaded it tops out at just over $37,000. It comes with some fantastic standard equipment like tilt and telescopic steering, cruise control, power windows and doors, 8-way adjustable seats with lumbar, 17inch alloys and dual-zone electronic climate control. This is one of those features that once you have it, you don’t want to have to do without!

I admit I like more power and would love to own this GTI over just the Golf. You get a comfy car, with room for friends and with the extra power it is super fun to drive!
