Ford Almighty rose to the top of the American podium in 2011. The constant praise by the media and love from consumers should come as a surprise to no one since the Blue Oval boasts interesting products in each and every segment.

Most of them outsell the entire competition, while the others never lose sight of first place. Consider the following lineup: Fiesta, Focus, Fusion, Mustang, Explorer, and F-150. The all-new 2013 Ford Escape will arrive in a few months and likely prove equally successful. And now that Mercury is out of the picture, along with all the brands it used to hold shares of (Volvo, Mazda, etc.), Ford can now focus on its very own vehicles.

Despite many good moments, the plan for 2012 is to keep things simple and limit certain expenses. We understand this approach but entertain some doubts: Ford is on a roll and accountants shouldn't be the ones making decisions. One way or another, though, the future looks bright.
