General Motors
Following its heavily publicized bankruptcy, General Motors got back on track... at least from a product standpoint. Actually, the automaker was already on the right track, with the Cruze, Orlando, Regal, Sonic and Spark being developed into the stars of tomorrow. Unfortunately, stakeholders don't quite agree. We'll see who's right in a couple of years.

The cars listed above embody the New GM. The Cruze was a hot seller during the first 11 months of 2011, landing near the top of Canadian charts. It's pretty simple: Build a stylish, interesting product with a competitive price, and life will be good. Performance enthusiasts should not be overlooked, so come up with a special Camaro, an ultra-powerful CTS-V, and everyone will be happy.

Many more treats await GM fans. Facing stiffer competition than ever, the world's No. 1 automaker will have to make the most of its global resources on a regular basis. The next step will be to improve its pickup trucks, which are currently losing some precious ground. Just a friendly advice...
