2011 Hyundai Elantra priced from $15,849 in Canada

The totally-redesigned Elantra sedan will be offered from $15,849 in Canada. According to Hyundai, the car’s base price is unchanged compared to the outgoing 2010 model, despite adding about $1,900 in extra equipment. The current Elantra’s liquidation selling price is $12,999.

At the top of the model range, the Elantra Limited will retail for $22,699, which is $1,100 less than the 2010 version, despite including $1,400 worth of extra goodies.

Hyundai added a bunch of new standard features in the 2011 Elantra, including traction and stability control systems, six airbags, four-wheel disc brakes, 6-speed transmissions, power windows and a 6-speaker stereo.
