You can use voice commands such as "radio" or even get specific and say "94.5" and voilà! Or my favourite, say "climate" followed by "cooler" or even “22" and voilà again. Can you remember the good old days where the driver had to take their eyes off the road and change all that themselves?!

The all new 3.7 litre V6 gives the 2011 MKX an additional 40hp giving it 305 fantastic horses. It's matched with a shiftable 6-speed automatic that rotates gears fast and smooth both on the up and down shifts.

I really appreciate it when the transmission doesn't second guess me when I'm shifting manually! It won't automatically shift at the redline and you can downshift to the lowest gear possible depending on engine speed.
There is a button on the side of the gear shift that you push with your thumb to manually change gears and I am not a fan of it at all. Maybe I am a bit old fashion, but when I am doing it myself, I prefer a lever. Plus the location of the shifter is a bit too far back, and if you have the seat closer to the steering wheel like I do, it is not very comfortable.

Lincoln has utilized several incredible technologies to give the MKZ its posted fuel ratings of 12.2L/ 100km in the city and 8.8L on the highway.

The Ti-VCT adjusts airflow for maximum efficiency. Piston cooling jets spray oil to create a faster warm up and higher compression ratio. As well, the engine idle speed has been lowered. Changes in the body were made to create a more aerodynamically efficient shape. A fuel shut off system and a variable displacement steering pump that alters steering assist as needed were also added to improve fuel economy.

A great thing to point out is that this premium engine does not require premium fuel!

Lincoln has greatly improved the handling this year of the MKX. I feel that the steering is more confident, the floaty ride is gone. I feel planted solidly to the road in every corner I take.

The steering wheel is a bit thick for my hands; I can’t seem to quite fit my fingers around it the way I would like. I do like the style of the steering wheel in the MKX though.
