BMW has just announced significant improvements to the second generation of its popular ALPINA B7, which will make its North American debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in August and go on sale immediately after.
Delivering unprecedented performance, the new ALPINA B7 produces 40 more horsepower – for a total of 540 – through an 8-speed automatic transmission. It can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds before reaching a top speed of 312 km/h.
Expect updated xenon adaptive headlights, LED fog lights, automatic start-stop technology, and 21'' wheels as well.
Four models will be available in the US including B7, B7 xDrive, B7 Long Wheelbase, and B7 xDrive Long Wheelbase. Right now, only the first is sold in Canada. But that might change as BMW has yet to make an official announcement.
