Pros and Cons*
Pros

Able to accommodate four passengers, the Scion iQ 2013 offers comfy front seats, a unique silhouette, legendary Toyota reliability, a nice driving position and an okay turning circle.

Cons

Tight backseat, bad soundproofing, stiff rear suspensions (twist-beams), cheap interior finish and a non-ergonomic dashboard equipped with a practically inaccessible Bluetooth system are some of the car’s downfalls.

Price
Sold at $17,070, there’s only one Scion iQ model currently on the market.
Bluetooth-enabled, the iQ is equipped with a AM/FM/CD/MP3/WMA audio system, an auxiliary audio jack and a USB port.
Plus, air conditioning, keyless entry, 16-inch steel wheels and projector-style headlamps also come standard.

A whole range of exterior, interior and audio accessories are available as well.

Fuel Economy
The 2013 iQ’s overall fuel efficiency rating is 5.1 L/100 km.
In greater detail, the iQ’s fuel consumption is 5.5 L/100 km in the city and 4.7 L/100 km on the highway.

Exterior Styling
The mini-car can be recognized by its prominent, menacing headlamps. Only 3 metres long, the iQ still manages to squeeze in a backseat, so it can accommodate up to four passengers. The car’s mirror-integrated signal lights further modernizes its look. This unique, 3-door hatchback’s audacious style can be dressed in a range of bright colours.

Powertrain
Delivering 94 HP and 89 lb-ft of torque, there’s a top-quality, 4-cylinder, 1.3 litre engine under the 2013 Scion iQ’s hood, along with continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT).

Cargo Capacity
You’ll get 99 litres of storage behind the seats. With the seats folded down, you can load up to 473 litres.

Safety
The iQ’s integrated Star Safety active system improves braking, helps drivers stay in control and prevents accidents. Outfitted with 11 airbags, the car’s technical innovations, such as integrated head restraints, further enhance safety.
