Parrot, a French company, came to the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas to launch the all-new RNB6 in-car infotainment system, which runs on Android's Lollipop and is compatible with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Featuring a 7” HD screen, the RNB6 displays content from a smartphone but can also operate offline. It includes a multimedia drive with apps like Deezer and Spotify, a navigation system, parking assist, cabin controls, and on-screen notifications. The RNB6 can also provide real-time vehicle status alerts and even monitor the road using the optional camera.
Parrot has not yet announced the markets that will sell the RNB6, let alone its price and release date. The list of vehicles that can integrate the system will also be specified at a later time.
