The much anticipated Porsche 911 GT3 RS finally made its debut today at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. It will go on sale in Canada this summer starting at $200,700 — and you can already order yours!

With a lap time of seven minutes and 20 seconds on the North Loop of the Nürburgring, the Porsche 911 GT3 RS is a genuine track monster. Yet, it remains street-legal! Output comes from a 4.0L flat-6 engine that produces 500 horsepower and 338 lb-ft of torque through an exclusive PDK. Acceleration from 0-100 km/h takes 3.3 seconds.

For the first time, the roof is made of magnesium; carbon fibre is used for the engine and luggage compartment lids, and other lightweight components are made of alternative materials. This makes the RS model about 10 kilograms lighter than the 911 GT3.

The interior design of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS is based on the current 911 GT3. One key new feature is the full bucket seats, which are based on the carbon bucket seats of the 918 Spyder. What's more, the optional Sport Chrono Package features the Porsche Track Precision app for smartphones.
