It’s on! The new 2016 Nissan Titan XD has embarked on the assembly line in Canton, Mississippi, and will arrive in showrooms later this year.
The first unit off the line, a Forged Copper Platinum Reserve model, was driven out of the facility by Nissan Executive Vice President José Muñoz and Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant.
The 2016 Nissan Titan XD 2016 is available with a 5.0L Cummins turbo-diesel V8 engine that produces 310 horsepower and 555 lb-ft of torque, a new gasoline V8 or an upgraded V6. When properly equipped, it can tow up to 12,000 lbs (5,443 kg).
Customers will also choose from three cab models, two cargo box sizes, and five trim levels.
