The revised and updated 2017 Buick Encore was introduced yesterday before the start of the 2016 New York Auto Show. It will arrive this fall with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
Sporting a more refined exterior look that includes a new front fascia, LED headlights, and 18” wheels, as well as a modernized, luxurious interior, the Buick Encore now features keyless entry with push-button start and next-generation IntelliLink with a slick 8” touchscreen.
The 2017 Buick Encore will initially be offered in five trim levels:
- Encore (1SB);
- Encore Sport Touring (1SH);
- Encore Convenience (1SD);
- Encore Leather (1SL);
- Encore Premium (1SN).
Front-wheel drive is standard, with all-wheel drive available. A 1.4L turbo engine and 6-speed autobox combine to achieve 9.5L/100km in the city and 7.2L/100km on the highway, GM estimates. There is also seating for five and up to 1,371 litres of storage space with the 60/40 split rear seat folded.
