The Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) today announced the winners of the 2017 Canadian Car of the Year and Canadian Utility Vehicle of the Year awards during a special ceremony at the 2017 Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto.
The Volkswagen Golf Alltrack was named 2017 Canadian Car of the Year. The other finalists were the Hyundai Elantra and BMW M2.
Meanwhile, the Subaru Forester beat the Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 4MATIC and Chrysler Pacifica in the process to be crowned 2017 Canadian Utility Vehicle of the Year.
Reminder: The Chevy Bolt EV and Pacifica were named 2017 North American Car and Utility Vehicle of the Year, respectively, at the NAIAS in Detroit earlier this year.
