The Subaru BRZ lineup will include a limited-edition model called “Series.Yellow” for 2017. Set to arrive in showrooms next year, it will offer 500 units only.
The BRZ Series.Yellow was unveiled this weekend at the Wicked Big Meet in Stafford Springs, Connecticut.
Like the name suggests, the car sports a yellow body that rides on exclusive 17” black alloy wheels. It’s based on the BRZ Limited and includes a Performance package with 4-piston Brembo callipers and SACHS shock absorbers. The 2.0L BOXER engine is tuned to deliver 205 horsepower, and the extra sportiness dialed into the chassis prompted Subaru to rename the Sport mode as Track mode.
The interior of the BRZ Series.Yellow features a 4.2” multifunction display offering a bunch of driving data, a redesigned steering wheel wrapped in leather, STARLINK infotainment with a 6.2” centre touchscreen, a rear-view camera, dual-zone climate control, and more.
Pricing for the 2017 Subaru BRZ Series.Yellow has yet to be announced.
