At Volvo, it’s all very simple: with the exception of the XC40 small SUV, all of the Swedish company’s models can be had with a plug-in hybrid powertrain. They’re identifiable by the T8 badging on the trunk, as well as by the additional door for plugging in the charging cable.
From the Volvo XC90 ($74,950) to the XC60 ($71,850), not to mention the S90 ($74,950), the T8 versions are more than just fuel-efficient, they’re also very pleasant to drive thanks in good part to their total output of 400 hp.
