# 9 The 3D sound
Our test model was equipped with the most expensive sound system on the list of options. For $6,620, you’re in your rights to expect a concert hall on wheels - and that's what you get. The 1,455-watt 3D sound pouring out of the 21 speakers delivers a near-pure aural experience, no matter what style of music you choose. In our opinion, it's one of the few audio systems on the market along with Volvo's award-winning system that’s really worth the extra cost.
# 10 Colours
In addition to improving a Cayenne that was already selling very well, thank you very much, Porsche has boldly added special colours available for the exterior finish. Lava Orange, Chalk and Cashmere Beige Metallic are the new colours available in the catalog. Our test model was Chalk-coloured and we can confirm that it does, in fact, turn heads.
Mind you if we’re being perfectly honest, some of that head-turning might just as well have been due to the sound produced by the Cayenne Coupe Turbo as its unique colour in the automotive landscape, but hey, who cares?
In addition to the exterior colour options, Porsche also offers 23 interior shades and combinations.
Conclusion
Despite their different roof lines, the Cayenne Coupe and its squarer sibling are, in their interiors, more or less the same. They offer countless options and exceptional build quality, but the price rises fast as you throw in the extras. If you're looking for a high-performance, well-built and reliable vehicle, no doubt you should consider both the regular Cayenne or the Coupe. Which one you choose depends on your personal preferences.
Keep in mind however that just because you pay $148,000, the base price for our test model, that doesn't mean it's going to come with all the options. Our model’s cost jumped more than $43,000 counting all the stuff, for a grand total of $192,900.
Given that eye-watering price, one might reasonably ask oneself, wouldn't one be just as happy driving a model that starts at $77,000, or might one not prefer going for an Audi RS Q8, Maserati Levante or BMW X6 M? One might.
