7 - Screen for the wind
With a convertible, you usually have a screen in the back to reduce wind intrusion on board. With the LC, a small window is present, but also a panel that can be easily installed or removed. The result is that, if necessary, you can raise the car’s windows and virtually cut off all wind intrusion into the cabin, which is quite impressive. With most convertibles, you always have to deal with some wind, but here, you have virtually nothing, even on the highway.
8 - Heat for the neck
Like what Mercedes-Benz offers with its Airscarf system, the LC's headrests are equipped with vents that send warm air to the back of our necks as needed when driving on cooler evenings. Unfortunately, the designers forgot that old rule about keeping things simple. With a Mercedes-Benz convertible, you have a button that allows you to turn the device on or off, as well as adjust its intensity. With the LC, you have to root around in the multimedia system, which is of course accessed via that damned touchpad we mentioned earlier. Argh.
